One of my absolute faves! This gorgeous glossy green evergreen has year round interest, attracts pollinators and provides food for birds. A great addition to any sunny garden. In the PNW, the flowers start to form in late summer and are in full bloom when the fruit, initiated the previous year, begins to ripen. What a delight! The fruit is also edible and the new growth is a brilliant red color. I love planting and maintaining these uniques shrubs.
